Anyone who lives in America knows that a zombie apocalypse is not only possible, but is already underway on a daily basis. The average population is being exposed to toxic chemicals, radiation, and a barrage of mindless television programming, all of which is paving the way for the inevitable zombie apocalypse. The culture of mindless numb armies of the undead are all around us, many working for fashion wholesalers, convenience stores, and as social workers in every major city already. The only real question we need to ask ourselves is which are we, a human or a zombie.
In most cases, it will not make a huge difference in the way we would interact with the world. Humans and zombies have been steadily becoming more alike in their behavior, since the cold war years and beyond. Zombies are likely to be found congregating in many typically human haunts including shopping malls, religious temples, rock concerts, college campuses, and even at political rallies. Any place where there are hordes of bodies gathering together, huddled, and mindlessly chanting songs, slogans, or other simple phrases in unison.
Anyone who follows the latest street fashions and trip hop trends knows that zombies are the bomb. Everything that is chic today has a touch of dark zombie flair to it. Ghetto fabulous fashions has been replaced by apocalyptic zombie styles. What was once Gothic and vampire culture has been made retro, plus zombie wear is affordable by both poor and rich kids. In fact, you can be caught dead wearing anything that makes you look like a zombie. Also since the world did not end with the turn of the Mayan calendar in 2012, it would seem that the apocalypse is going to be an ongoing festivity and not a final date of doom.
For zombie kids, everyday is the end of the world. So embrace it and learn to love it. If you are among the living, get your ammo the lock and load. Because you better be ready to fight to survive, but it will be fun. It will be just like being in a video game, all day everyday. You can do everything that is not allowed in real world society, but is completely acceptable in the everyday world of an apocalypse full of zombies. It is a human wonderland of death and gore to be exploited, so live like it is your last day on the Earth.
It is even better if you are a zombie, because the whole world is your oyster. All the rules are gone and nothing is left to be taboo, there is only your feast of brains for miles around you. Remember this is not the end of the world, but the first day of the rest of your undead life. So ask yourself America, if you think that a zombie apocalypse is possible. The answer is yes, it is happening all around you. Using your brain takes on a whole new meaning, if it is true.
